The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it can be alarmed with regards to the significant variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a sassa higher quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is as a result of lack of infrastructure sassa at Fernie and there is no fully functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. The company issue created for intervention experiences a high inflow of potential beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to empower the servicing of all prospects and raise use of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
